Badgers

After a history of prosecution in the UK, badgers and their setts are now protected under EU and UK legislation, specifically the Badgers Act (1992). We are able to assist with both small and large scale projects, and our consultants are able to undertake all aspects of badger surveys relating to development, conservation and protection. Surveys can include an initial walkover survey, sett monitoring, bait marking, camera trapping and sett exclusions. We can also help with license applications to disturb badger setts. The timing of these surveys is regulated by Scottish Natural Heritage and Natural England.
